Jodendom, Christendom, Germanendom (Paperback) - Cardinal Faulhaber An example of the cowardly stance of a Catholic priest towards anti-Semitism in pre-war Germany (the sermons are from 1933). Essentially, the cardinal argues the Germans should definitely not forget the Old Testament, and what it means for Christianity. Also, on several points, the concept of the 'Germanic spirit' was not wholly irreconcilable with Christian thought.

On the matter of anti-Semitism, though, he is painfully silent. His conclusion (my translation): "The scorning of the contemporary Jews must not be extended to the holy books of pre-Christian Judaism." And that's it...
