The Crystal World

Crystal World - J.G. Ballard The Crystal World is a fine work where a biophysical science-fiction paralleled subtly by a psychological portrait of diverse people coming to grips with their past and dues.

There is something beautifully calming about the way in which the protagonist and some of the other characters are caught up in the crystal forest slowly encroaching upon the world. Inside the crystal, time and space somehow coalesce, offering a mystical answer to their grief and crises of faith.
