Mumintrollet N:1 (Paperback) - Tove Jansson Compared to the wonderful Moomin novels and short stories, these comic strips pale significantly. Although the drawings are lovely as ever, the storyline is very hodge-podge, and there is little sense of any fulfilling narrative, let alone the calm, contemplative tempo that gave the books such a great character, enjoyable for all ages.

I will cast a glance into the other comic Moomin volumes as well, but this one at least was very disappointing.
